«We met when we were still in high school in Vancouver, Canada. We moved to Sydney, Australia together for graduate school. In the midst of our grueling studies, Borna knew that he wanted to mark our ten-year anniversary. He planned the most beautiful surprise proposal at Whitehaven Beach, which has been ranked by some as the best beach in the world for its white silica sand and vibrant blue inlet. What a place to both celebrate a big milestone and toast to our future – it sure is the best beach in the world in our eyes!», the bride shared with us.

«Our wedding reception entrance was our favorite moment! We didn’t coordinate anything for it, so when Borna excitedly grabbed my hand, ran to our reception venue, and gave me a great big smiley kiss in front of all of our cheering guests, it was such an authentic and unexpected moment of elation. Those photos are some of my favorites, because we’re grinning ear to ear. Nothing quite beats being introduced as husband and wife for the first time!»

«We are avid travelers and spent almost as much time planning our honeymoon as we did our wedding. Denea is of Greek heritage, and we spent five incredible weeks in Greece as part of our honeymoon. The highlight was our dreamy week in Imerovigli, Santorini, where we spent most of our time at our private pool enjoying bright, sparkling days and the famous ethereal sunsets. The whole week was a ‘pinch me’ moment! We knew we wanted to immortalize such a special time in our lives, and Eva Rendl Photography captured us and the scenery so perfectly. »

“We were introduced by a mutual friend and met at work. It was a gloomy and windy day but Kevin kept insisting that he wanted to fly his drone around in Half Moon Bay, CA. He asked Jackie to dress up because he planned to include her in the drone footage. As fate would have it, Jackie chose the exact same outfit she wore the day Kevin asked her to be his girlfriend in Napa. Little did she know, Kevin had a photographer waiting for them at the edge of a cliff pretending to be taking pictures of the scenic ocean. As planned, Kevin asked the photographer to take a picture for them, and suggested they look away towards the water. With their backs to the photographer, he switched from Kevin’s iPhone to his camera to frame the shot and said the cue phrase “Looks good!” Still unsuspecting, Jackie turned and began to take a step away as Kevin grabbed her hand and got down on one knee. Despite dozens of rehearsals, Kevin stumbled and stuttered through his speech…which didn’t matter because Jackie blacked out in excitement and screamed, “Of Course!”, Jackie shared with us.

“My wedding dress was made by Galia Lahav. It had Sicilian embellishments, sparkly ivory lace, and a silhouette that gave it a timeless look. After trying over one hundred dresses, I knew this was my dream dress the minute I tried it on. It was everything that I imagined myself to be married in. My favourite moment from my wedding was our “first look”. We have been waiting for our wedding day to come after having to postpone it for year. Seeing Kevin for the first time on our wedding day felt like a dream since we could not believe that it was finally here. Kevin had tears in his eyes the second he turned around whiling looking at me. It was truly a special moment that him and I will never forget”.

“My advice is to enjoy every second of the planning process and always remember to stay true to your relationship. The process can be overwhelming and stressful in making it the perfect day, but it helps to work as a team so you can highlight the little details that both of you decided together. You will only have to plan this event once in your lifetime so really try to enjoy making it about you as a couple than what other people think is best”.

«We met first time when Peter decided to join the Elizabeth class in high school during his last day at school before his final exams. (Normally in Poland the graduating students finish school during the last week of April while others start holidays in June).  The reason why Peter joined that classroom was because he wanted to make a good impression on a particular teacher who would test him during final exams. But he made an impression on his future wife. Both of us are love sports and we participate in different activities, so the proposal had also sporty flair and took place during kayaking in the north of Poland», Elizabeth shared with us.

«At our wedding we mostly enjoyed the combination of beautiful flowers on the tables combined with extraordinary views from the terrace where the reception occurred. My favorite moment was our first dance as the song ” You are the reason” from Calum Scott played… My wedding dress was a greek-style dress (empire) which was long and  had a train, such a flowing creation, made of airy material and with the open back…».

The bride’s advice: «Try to fulfil your dreams about the wedding. We are a Polish couple who decided to get married in Corfu in December and managed to make it happen during difficult Covid times. So in conclusion, remember that everything is possible!».
