We are in wedding heaven today after seeing this utterly gorgeous tuscan affair captured brilliantly by photographer Nadia Meli. The entire day has endless inspiration from the timeless natural color palette, the lovely fresh pale pink and blue hydrangeas, dahlias and roses combined beautifully with rosemary, sage, basil and other aromatic herbs… enjoy every single dream worthy photo of this Tuscan countryside wedding…
The beautiful bride shared with us: “We met in a small bar in Zurich, Switzerland on November 1, 2011. I was out with a friend of mine and Klaus had a after work drink with a colleague. At first I just heard Klaus’ voice without seeing him and his voice just made me turn around. That is how our relationship began…”
“I bought my dress in Switzerland. The designer’s name is Raimon Bundó, model Diana, Collection year 2013. It is a very romantic floor length, short sleeved A-line dress with a boat neckline and long train and it fit my husband’s outfit perfectly. The fabric is silk, lace and net lace, the color is ivory.”
“The highlight of the day was the whole the day. It couldn’t have been more perfect…”
When we asked Manuela what was the best decision she made concerning her wedding she told us: “To get married in Tuscany, to get away with our friends and family and just enjoy a special and wonderful long weekend. And of course to hire Nadia Meli, our photographer!”
“We had a dream of our wedding. Since I was a girl I always wanted to get married in the hills of Tuscany. My roots are there… Luckily Klaus shared this dream as he always wanted to get married under a big tree. With this location that our wedding planner suggested, we found the perfect place! It almost topped our dream…. We wanted to get married in the style of a rustic Italian wedding. We wanted to let colors and flavors of the Tuscany hills be the leading characters of our wedding. For us the beauty lies in the simple things. We just love good food and good wine and that is where we put the emphasis on”.
Their wedding planner Helga Marks from Wedding Italy shared with us: “It was a September wedding with beautiful golden light. The elements for decoration were wooden cases, jute, straw, herbs, fresh seasonal flowers, olive branches, wild fennel. Very important for the rustic Tuscan countryside wedding was also the lighting: light chains in the big tree, lots of lanterns and candles on the table and in the entire garden area. The Tuscan inspired menu and the wine list were written with white ink on small blackboards”.
“My bouquet contained white dahlia, wild fennel, roses and pink grapes and blue hydrangea…”
The bride’s advice: “Always go by your heart and it you have a dream try to make it come true- and wait until you really find your soul mate no matter how long it takes. Then life is just a piece of cake and a lot of fun!”
