From Roberta Facchini Photography: “Natasha and Simon chose the amazing La Maltese in Imerovigli for the wedding in Santorini and this venue has the most amazing views of the caldera. Blue seas, blue skies and for this wedding, there were also fabulous guests and a wonderful bride and groom. Natasha, the bride, is from Russia originally while Simon comes from Switzerland. The couple is based in Switzerland but chose a destination wedding. And, with the beauty of Santorini as a backdrop, who can blame them?”
“The bridal preparations took place at the spectacular Andronis Boutique Hotel and I couldn’t have asked for more. I’m sure Natasha read my feature about perfect bridal preparation photos! I loved how relaxed Natasha was and her hair and makeup was totally gorgeous. Meanwhile, Simon and his groomsmen were getting all the attention at La Maltese and it was great to take some fab photos of them before the ceremony. I have got such a soft spot for groom wearing black tie and Simon’s shades were the perfect finishing touch!”
“The ceremony was a unique experience and it was such a privilege to be involved. Held in the main Orthodox Church in Oia, one of the two large towns in Santorini, it was a moving and beautiful occasion. I’ve never seen a more beautiful church! Being a wedding photographer in Santorini is literally a dream come true!”
“After the ceremony was over, Natasha and Simon were ready for some fun. As the light was so amazing for photographs, we had a great time with the wedding portraits. We even went up onto the roof of the church and Natasha climbed what felt like a million steps in her Jimmy Choo heels! That was a first for this destination wedding photographer!”
“The celebratory dinner was elegant beyond words. Fresh white linens and chair, soft candles, pretty flowers and so many well thought out details. It’s always a pleasure working with the talented Stella & Moscha. By the time the speeches rolled around, everyone was completely at ease and there was lots of laughter. I particularly loved the fact that Natasha and Simon made a point to go round all the guest tables, raising a glass or two with every one. It made everyone feel so appreciated and spoke volumes about this delightful couple.”
“When it was time for me to say goodbye, the party was in full swing. I left everyone, including the bride and groom, having a great time on the dancefloor.”
