Shirin and Youssof decided to get marry in Budapest with a big wedding full of elegance and shimmer. Both ceremony and reception took place in two wonderful places, Savoy Terrace of Buda Castle, overlooking the magnificent Danube river and the impressive Vajdahunyad castle. Couple’s entrance to the castle reminds of a movie scene, as they were walking up the huge stairs and the guests were showering them with white rose petals. From the decoration to the process, this wedding has a royal and aristocratic sense that can enchant everyone! Enjoy!
“Our love story started when we met for the first time in Kew gardens, London. We got introduced through a mutual friend and instantly felt we had a special bond. As the saying goes, when you know, you know”, the bride shared with us.
“A year later, Youssof planned a surprise weekend away to Paris for my birthday. After enjoying a romantic dinner, he insisted we should go to the Eiffel tower to watch its hourly light show. When the clock hit exactly midnight and the tower was on full show, he went down on one knee and proposed and of course, the answer was a big YES!”
“Budapest is one of our favorite cities and we thought it would be the perfect location for our dream wedding due to its romantic atmosphere.”
“We decided to have our Persian wedding ceremony at the Savoy Terrace of Buda Castle, overlooking the magnificent Danube river. We exchanged our vows at sunset to the sound of harps playing, in the presence of all our loved ones.”
“The wedding reception and dinner was held in a second castle, Vajdahunyad castle, where we danced the night away until the sun came up.”
“We opted for an elegant and classic wedding inspired by Budapest’s beautiful castles and charm. We had a color theme consisting of crème, white and green colors with silver details framing it all together.”
“I always had an idea of what type of wedding I wanted, so planning a big wedding like this together with our amazing wedding planner Dora and her team was a bliss. I used to find inspirations from various wedding blogs/Pinterest and would send my ideas to our wedding planner so that she could incorporate it into our wedding.”
“I remember the joy I felt when my husband and I were walking up the stairs entering our wedding reception while everyone was showering us with white rose petals. In that moment, everything felt just right, everything felt perfect.”
“I fell in love with my wedding dress when I saw it on Pronovias catwalk show, in that moment I knew it was the one.”
