He had prepared a series of letters, which he left at different spots in the city, until I met him at the famous Pont des Arts and while “Dance me to the End of Love” was playing, he asked me to become his wife! It was an amazing and unforgettable moment!”

“We met in 2013 through common friends. From the first moment we realized that we will be together. He proposed 10 months later, just before our first anniversary at Elysium hotel in Paphos at our hotel room. It was a huge surprise for me, because I did not expect it, but it was also a very beautiful moment; Michalis proposed with his grandmother’s ring and this really touched me”.

The last photo was from a two-days trip in Galaxidi, where we had rent a bicycle for two, which turned out to be nightmare because we were constantly dropping without being able to keep our balance. After that photo, it was written “What are you doing on July 16th 2016? Would you like to make your life difficult? and after searching behind the pillows, he took out the ring, he kneeled and asked me if I wanted to marry him… I fell into his arms”.

“We met through mutual friends at a bar in Chalandri, where Michalis was working. He proposed in Vienna, at princess Sissi palace. We went for a road trip with friends in Austria and during the whole trip Michalis was looking for the right time to propose, having bought the ring in Greece (our friends knew about it of course). He proposed at the largest balcony of the palace, while we were taking pictures. He took out the gloves (it was very cold) and opened the ring box, while our friends were taking pictures and videos! We hugged and cried; we have tears in our eyes in all photos! The rest of the tourists being there captured the moment…”

“It was the second day of the year and we had planned to go out for dinner! When we got into the car he told me: “Let’s go for a walk under the Acropolis before dinner, since it’s too early”. I agreed without suspecting anything! During our walk, he started talking about our relationship and about what I mean to him, until we reached the spot where we had our first kiss, without even realizing it! There, he showed me the ring and asked me to marry him! It was a beautiful and emotional moment!”

We were getting ready to go out for dinner, when Dimitris asked me to read on his pc the present he had prepared for our anniversary, although the previous day he told me that he may be a little late to give me my present. Since he is very good in writing, he had written a fairy tale, something I was asking him to do from the very first year we were together… In order to find out how the fairy tale ends, he assigned me to a quest; to find where in the house he has hidden the usb with the rest of the story. After I found it, with a hint he gave me (I hadn’t suspected anything so far), I opened the file and I started reading a love confession… While I was crying and still believing that this was my anniversary present, I turned around to hug him and I saw him on one knee, asking me to marry him…”
