Royal blue wedding in Santorini | Melissa & Robert

“We get married on 30th September in Santorini. We chose Santorini because we fell in love with the island, it’s so romantic and pretty we knew this had to be the destination!”, the bride shared with us.

“We’ve been together around 10 years now, we lived across the road from one another and it was a family member who introduced us! The proposal happened in a very intimate afternoon in our home. When Rob popped the question, I cried, then my best friend turned up, we cried some more and actually it will stay with me forever that the afternoon was spent with two of the dearest people I could hope for.”

“My wedding dress was by David’s Bridal and my bridal shoes by Carvella.”

“For our wedding we chose a royal blue theme. We had an elegant decoration in blue and white hues and large ivory gerberas for flower design. We decided to decorate the tables with own items, infant many of our wonderful friends were kind enough to pack bits and pieces into their cases to help share the load. As for the wedding cake, we had a Jamaican style wedding cake, with blue ribbon.”

“For our wedding, we wanted everyone to have fun! There had to be dancing this was imperative and dancing is something our friends and us enjoy together on nights out! We wanted the day to be about love, fun and the music. Dancing in the sunshine, the first moments we saw and danced without friends on the terrace, and of course running around the pretty village of Prygos barefoot for our photos are some moments that I will never forget!”
