Save the dates invites are a sweet and smart way to let your friends and family know when they will be invited to attend and celebrate your wedding day! Not to mention the importantce since they are the first impression of the style your wedding will have! We are so excited today that Pavlos Leventelis from Atelier Invitations is sharing his thoughts about these early reminders and showing us some of his fabulous and ultra stylish designs!
“Save the dates are the first form of communication between the couple and their wedding guests. It is an excellent opportunity for them to share a little glimpse of the style and feeling of their upcoming wedding day. It also gives friends and family a chance to start getting into the mood of a wedding celebration and often sometimes it intrigues them also to plan a few suprises for the couple! It would definitely be ideal for the suprises to follow the same concept as revealed in the save the dates”
“It is by far a great opportunity to foster enthusiasm for your wedding day! They can be printed and mailed in a matching envelope, just as the formal wedding invitations will be sent. They can also be sent via email.”
“By sending the save the dates ahead of time and informing them about the upcoming date and location, you are actually providing your guests with enough time to plan accordingly. Very important especially if you are planning a destination wedding and your guests need to make the necessary travel arrangements: book their fights, arrange accommodation etc. It is best to send the save the dates 5-6 months prior to the wedding day, or even earlier, giving them enough time to plan accordingly before they receive the actual wedding invitation”.
Thank you Pavlos for sharing!
