Today I am so excited to share with you the re-imagined wedding of Louise, the amazingly creative and talented lady that founded B.LOVED blog, a daily source of inspiration, news, advice and fashionable finds for the modern woman. Louise is considered to be one of the UK’s most successful bloggers, reaching thousands of readers around the world & with a strong social media presence. Louise also runs Louise Beukes Styling , the only UK stylist dedicated the wedding industry, curating & styling editorial & product shoots for wedding & lifestyle brands and…. together with luxury wedding planner and designer Jessie Thomson created Flourish & Prosper , setting out to encourage and inspire like-minded wedding industry colleagues in a friendly, approachable and totally non-cliquey community. I seriously can’t wait to “see” her re-imagined wedding ideas!

My wedding day was hands down the best day ever. It changed my life in so many different ways, the biggest being the decision to launch B.LOVED wedding blog in March 2011. Planning my wedding fuelled an undiscovered passion for discovering pretty things, an obsession with perfect details and a love for love. B.LOVED is a place I can indulge and share my passions; weddings, interiors, fashion, travel, family and beauty, things all women love. It’s without doubt I can say I have the best job ever!
The Wedding Style
Contemporary, relaxed & luxe. I’d love to mix an organic style with lots of foliage and local florals contrasted with structured succulents and proteas, and luxurious touches like letterpress and bespoke linens.

The color palette
I chose a bold orange and grey palette for our wedding almost four years ago, but for my re-imagined day I would go soft and subtle teaming soft grey and powder blue with nude, blush and pale peach shades for a sophisticated and totally feminine look.

The wedding dress & shoes
I have a different ‘favourite ever’ wedding dress practically every week, and I am so lucky to have met and worked with some fabulous designers in my years as a blogger and stylist. If I did it all again, I’d probably chose something by David Fielden. His style is contemporary, fashion-forward and yet feminine and romantic. Oh, and I’d definitely go big, I mean, when else do you get to twirl in a full tulle gown?! I’d wear a pair of bespoke shoes from Harriet Wilde, her designs are just exquisite.

The wedding ceremony location & wedding reception venue
My husband is South African, so we’d head out into the African bush to tie the knot under an Acacia tree at sunset, surrounded by the sounds of the bush. We’d celebrate with close family and friends at an intimate safari camp with champagne and festoon lights lighting a lookout over the savannah.

Wedding cake
I’d have individual mini-cakes for each guests so I could include all of my favourite designs (and treat them all to their favourite flavor) – from exquisite sugarpaste flowers and handpainted cakes, to luxe naked cakes with Italian buttercream frosting and decorated with fresh flowers!

Wedding favors
I’m not a big fan of wedding favours, so I’d rather leave welcome gifts in my guests rooms with local treats and snacks, a map, spa details and of course a hangover kit!

What would/will you do to entertain your wedding guests
In the bush the animals provide the entertainment, so a night-time game drive would be a fun way to treat our guests! I’d also have expert barista’s mixing up signature cocktails and an African choir to add to the atmosphere.

Honeymoon
After all that we’d need some proper R&R, so an over-water bungalow in the Maldives would be the perfect place to wash off the dust and hideaway in luxury.
