Penny and Nikos tied the knot on a sunny day of September with a romantic celebration of love, just the way they dreamed it! They chose to create a beautiful, fairytale scene in pink and white hues adorned perfectly with vintage details. Pink ribbons, lanterns, candles, greenery garlands and fresh bouquets with roses transformed completely the church courtyard. We fell in love with the effortlessly stylish look of the bride, who chose a dreamy Mairi Mparola wedding dress and a white headpiece on her hair! Prepare to get inspired by a unique wedding through the following images!
The bride shared with us: “We met a few years ago when we were in the same work environment. He proposed during a summer vacation, before we returned to Cyprus where we spent the last 2 years. 3 months after our wedding we returned to Athens.”
“My wedding dress was created by Mairi Mparola. Covered with French lace with embroidered stones from the bodice to the waist and a deep V back. For my hair, instead of a veil I chose to put on a wreath my designer made especially for me and my style!”
“We got married at the chapel of Agios Gerasimoa at Nefeli Estate in September.”
“For my flower bouquet I chose roses in soft hues (pastel pink and purple), eucalyptus, brass and dusty miller.”
“The decoration followed a romantic style like the wedding dress. The entrance of the chapel was adorned with a garland with a lace ending and pastel pink gauze. The aisle of the chapel was decorated with vintage lanterns with gauze nest. The decoration was combined harmonically with the greenery venue where the ceremony took place.”
“I followed Love4weddings when I started organizing our wedding, which helped me find ideas for wedding dress designers and the style of decoration that we wanted to have.”
“At the beginning of the process, Love4weddings helped me to see a general view of my wedding and guided me step by step to write everything down for my wedding. From the wedding dress, the invitations to the favors. Moreover, it helped me to find my wedding dress, for which I chose the designer Mairi Mparola!”
“My advice to a bride-to-be is to enjoy the whole preparation process with no stress! She has to listen to other’s opinion but make the final choices based on her taste.”
