All you have to do is just glance for a split second at this white and green wedding in Crete and you will quickly realize that wedding prettiness is about to unfold… The beautiful rustic wedding of Marta and Salar took place at the Agreco Farm, a truly gorgeous setting for a wedding as you will soon see in these beautiful imagery photographer Elias Kordelakos shared with us today!
The bride shared with us: “We met at a lounge in Toronto. In Nov 2014 we travelled to Sri Lanka and stayed at a hotel in city of Kandy overlooking the mountains and river. He proposed on the balcony of the hotel…”
We asked Marta why she wanted to get married in Crete and she shared with us:“It was easier to plan there and more unique than Santorini. For a group of thirty people we had more options for hotel, night life and venues”
We just loved the simple and chic white and green wedding decoration and as the bride describes: “We wanted something very rustic with whites and greens throughout. This showed in our flower and table settings…”
“We tried to keep it to a minimum because the venue was incredibly beautiful. Minimal flowers and table settings. We wanted lots of candles on the tables but no table coverings etc…. What the venue had was perfect!”
We asked the bride to tell us about the best moment of her wedding day: “To be honest, we have been to many weddings and our guests have been to many many weddings, including overseas. Ours was the best and everything about it. Can’t pick just one moment…”
The bride’s advice: “Don’t stress over the little things the day of. Things will go wrong. We knew they would and didn’t care. The result was that we had an amazing time and so too did our guests. Our energy was contagious!”
