This destination summer wedding at the Island Art & Taste is simple yet so beautiful! From the romantic Jenny Packham wedding dress to the colorful floral arrangements, you will definitely love this wedding!
“Berke was in France with a friend. After their holiday was over I met with him in Florence at the weekend. We were having a walk after a nice dinner. He proposed me while we were on Ponte Vecchio. He made a surprise and he got a day off for me from my work. We went to Venice the day after…” the bride shared with us.
“I wanted a comfortable dress. I really liked Jenny Packham’s designs. I also tried many other brands without having bias toward them.”
“We knew that the wedding day will go away too fast. We didn’t want a wedding in Istanbul where we could only see our friends for a short of time. We wanted a wedding where we could spend whole weekend with our friends. We wanted the venue and the hotel to be close to the airport…”
“While I was in contact with the planner, I passed over other technical stuff such as DJ, lighting to Berke. He gave the most important support by staying calm during the most stressful moments…”
“We didn’t proceed over a concept. We just wanted our wedding to be simple and comfortable for our guests.”
The bride’s advice: “You try to control everything on a wedding day, but you can’t control the nature. It was so windy during the couple photo shooting. I love sailing. So there is this connection between you and the wind starts to grow up. So I thought the wind also wanted to be a part of our special day. That’s how I felt.”
“Our entrance song was our DJ Can Hatipoğlu’s remix for Shantel – Good Night. The first dance was the scariest thing about the wedding for us. After we greeted everyone at their tables, we made a short speech and we invited everyone to join us. The song for the first dance was Queen – Crazy Little Thing Called Love!”
