“We met in California, where we were both doing our PhD. We were friends for many years and when both of us were single, we started our relationship. We had a long-distance relationship for the first 2 years, since Jeff moved to Zurich. It was not always easy, but things could not have tuned out better. He proposed at Kalamata’s waterfront a beautiful, sunny day in May”.

“We did not get married at church. We had a civil wedding in Zurich, where we live. In Greece we had a symbolic wedding at Elite City Resort, where the wedding reception took place. We wrote the ceremony ourselves, in Greek and English. Everyone said that they really liked it and that is was very unique”.

“It’s hard to name our wedding style, but I think the word that describes it better is dreamy. It had some rustic and romantic elements, but in elegant, simple lines. The wedding theme that dominated in many decoration elements, was traveling; we both love traveling very much, it’s our passion. The main colors used were green, turquoise and gold”.
