Today we will transfer you to Kalamata, Greece where the couple decided to tie the knot and begin a new life together. Lisa and Petros wanted to keep it all traditional and clean, so they chose for their wedding natural colours, like green, white and grey. They decided to decorate their wedding with lovely rustic details like garlands with olive leaves, wooden tables, beautiful fresh flower bouquets and grey touches. The atmosphere was completed with hanging lights and many candles… So romantic! Prepare to get inspired through the following images!
The bride shared with us:“For my flower bouquet, I just trusted our perfect wedding planners, they have chosen. It was the perfect bouquet.”
“We met in his bar. He was the owner. I came for a drink. He was behind the bar and mixed the drink. So, one Gin Tonic came to the other. Three years later he proposed while our vacation in Italy. We’ve been to Capri and one evening after a really nice diner he asked me under the sky full of stars with a view over the sea. It was super romantic. He had the ring in his pocket the whole time and was really nervous to lose it.”
“What should I say for my wedding dress… It was just perfect. It was summery, light and also very elegant.”
“The ceremony took place in Kalamata – his mother’s home town.”
“We chose Kalamata because it’s the birthplace of his mom. One day he showed me Kalamata and also Lampena (the place where his mother was born and raised). He also showed me the cutest little chapel there. From that moment I knew, that’s the place I want to get married.”
“We went for a traditional, clean styling. We choose the colours green, grey and white. The decoration was perfect. Our wedding planners did the greatest job.”
“We loved the wedding decoration. The concept was great. We had a lot of string lights and round wooden tables and chairs. The flowers and arrangements have been very elegant and traditional and matched perfectly to the venue and our style.”
“I found the blogs Chic and Stylish Weddings, Love4Weddings and EverAfter very helpful for my wedding planning.”
“The best moment of our wedding was our dance. That moment was really spectacular, and we enjoyed the quiet moment for ourselves.”
Advice to a bride-to-be: “Don’t be busy on your wedding day. Let friends, family or wedding planners do all the organisation on that day so you can enjoy the whole ceremony and all the moments.”
