The bridal makeup took place in the ultra-modern and hip Inglot store in Halandri, Athens. Really and truly the place to be if you are looking for high quality professional makeup and most importantly…with sensible prices.

Monica, our lovely and fun loving model of the day had her make up done by Make Up Artist Manos Kavvathas. He chose for Monica, subtle and romantic bridal make up.

On Monica’s T zone and on her cheek bones, Manos applied a minimal amount of INGLOT under make up base. During the photo shoot, the model’s skin, as Manos told us “will breathe and the oiliness that comes to the surface will dry up… this way the makeup will last longer”.

Manos applied the INGLOT cream foundation, a covering and weightless make up that he skillfully mixed with the AMC face and body illuminator No 63 creating a bright and satin feeling finish. “Not only up close but also in all the photos, Monica’s face will look bright, hydrated and alive!”, said the talented Make Up Artist Manos Kavvathas.

«As for the cat eye look, I used the Eyelashes 71S with an intense finish, always looking natural and for a more classy result, I applied the gel eyeliner No 77 that gave Monica a more romantic “Grace Kelly” look»

Beautiful bridal makeup… Manos emphasized how important it is to “decode” each bride’s character in order for the makeup to be beautiful and timeless. As he mentioned “the bride needs to feel like herself and when she looks at her wedding photos after many years, she must like them and have a nostalgic smile on her face as she remembers how she felt on that day…”

The photo shoot took place in the impressive country-style manor called The Residence, an excellent choice for a wedding reception… any time of the year.

The picture perfect estate is located in the surrounding area of the Parnitha National Park

The bridal hairstyle was created by the known hairstylist Dimitris Arhontopoulos. The bride’s long hair was pulled back in a loose bridal updo, a hairstyle for brides that just like Dimitris mentioned “enhances her femininity and the extinguished detailing of the wedding dress”.

Monica’s long hair was braided on the lower back part of her head and tucked in loosely. Simply perfect.

Custom made bridal shoes by Katerina Savrani. The artist along with her journey as an actress, decided to follow her childhood dream and create little masterpieces that make each wedding so beautiful.

Pink transparent semi boot: inspired by Vincent van Gogh paintings. A multicolored floral pattern hand sewn with milky white and pink beads. Pink silk flowers hug the heel in the most beautiful way.

The wedding decoration of the “pretty and sweet country styled” bridal shoot was coordinated by Vana Efkleidou, founder και lead wedding planner of the White Ribbon Boutique Events. Every single detail of the wedding décor was highly curated. Vana not only brought to life the original concept we had initially asked for… she went above and beyond.

«We used colors such as beige and a brownish shade of red, crystal and porcelain objects», Vana mentioned.

Wedding invitations by Be My Guest… each one has «a special story», modern and romantic, designed with an exclusive procedure.

For the fantastic wedding décor, Vana also used selected old objects such as the children’s nursery book Mother Goose. She added discreetly the vintage element to the country-style theme of the photo shoot.

Anna Anemomilou, the talented designer behind the amazing creations at ANEM. Romantic, airy wedding dresses for the modern bride and they are known to be made with precision and to have an excellent fit.

A romantic wedding dress, minimal style, with impressive details all hand made. As Anna mentioned in an interview «I prefer to create with delicate and airy fabrics… that add movement to the dress when the bride is walking or dancing… making her look ethereal»

I am in love with this dress…a flesh color wedding dress that is so feminine and romantic.

From the moment I first laid eyes on wedding photos from Thanos Asfis it was…love at first sight. Every single photo, one more beautiful than the next. Photos with the liveliest colors, even if the wedding photo shoot was on a rainy day. Pure photo-perfection.
