THE ESTATE
The Ekaterini Estate is a magnificent hilltop estate above the village of Gastouri, one of the oldest and most beautiful villages of Corfu. This luxurious prestigious residence gives you unique privacy, though only 20 minutes from Corfu Town and 5 minutes from the port of Benitses.
The Estate has stunning far-reaching 360-degree views of the Ionian Sea, beautiful villages, rolling hills, luscious forests and the Corfu fortresses in the distance.
It was painstakingly restored in the late 1990s and 2000s by the current owners’ mother, a distinguished art historian, art critic and collector. She had an unfailing eye, infallible taste, as well as a deep love for the island, its architecture and history. As a result, the Estate combines luxurious and comfortable living with the beauty and elegance that characterises the finest of Corfiot mansions.
The grandeur of the villa with its extraordinary views is truly unique. There is a plethora of stunning outdoor sitting and dining areas for you to enjoy, each with its own special feel and style. The interiors are refined and stylish throughout.
THE GROUNDS
Upon entering the Estate through its iron gate, you climb up the long atmospheric drive winding its way through a forest of mature trees, until you reach the impressive entrance of the Villa.
The Villa itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens with flower beds, shrubs, trees and expanses of lawns. There are many beautiful areas to sit, have a drink and relax in and whether you chose the Loggia, the Cypress Veranda or the Half Moon Terrace, to name but a few, each one has its own distinct atmosphere and something unique to offer you. In addition, there is an array of lovely dining areas to choose from, depending on your mood, desires or the time of day.
The Estate has a huge amount to offer its guests with its very large swimming pool surrounded by a stunning terrace, its floodlit tennis court set at the edge of the hill and enjoying a beautiful view, a large outdoor jacuzzi, an impressive Moroccan style hammam, table tennis and a small gym. In addition, our homegrown vegetables and fruit are delicious and very much enjoyed by everyone who stays at the Estate.
The grounds are extensive and the Villa is set at the highest point of the Estate’s hill surrounded by gardens and terraces with beautiful surround views.
LAYOUT
On the ground floor is a very spacious drawing room with an impressive marble fireplace, an elegant octagonal dining room and a lovely card and sitting room, all with impressive art throughout, part of the family’s collection. The expansive terrace leading off the drawing and dining rooms has breath-taking views and invites you to enjoy sunset drinks in the calm evening breeze and dinner under the stars.
On the first floor is a very large master bedroom suite with a beautifully designed bathroom with a rare 19th-century marble bath, a dressing room, a study and two wonderful terraces. There are two further double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all with en suite bathrooms and decorated in an elegant traditional style.
The garden floor has a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both ensuite, each with their own pretty private terrace. There is a very large and comfortable playroom/sitting/tv room, which leads on to another gorgeous terrace where you can enjoy delicious lunches, dinners and barbecues.
The guesthouse has two further ensuite double bedrooms, a sitting room with kitchen area and its own private terrace with lovely views of Gastouri and the countryside beyond.
The Villa sleeps 16 guests in 8 double or twin ensuite bedrooms. The internal size is 1200 sqm.

WEDDINGS
There cannot be many places in the world that can rival the exquisite Ekaterini Estate as the perfect wedding venue. Set at the top of its hill with surrounding views of the beautiful Corfu landscape, it is a dream come true. The Estate is altogether private, tranquil and a romantic mellow atmosphere permeates throughout. We would be delighted to host your wedding, your unique and most special celebration in this exceptional house. There are numerous elegant terraces and lawns for your wedding reception and we can accommodate larger or smaller parties.
The Estate has a picturesque chapel, where you might choose to have a blessing. There are many beautiful spots and backdrops for taking the most memorable of photographs.
When you have your wedding at the Estate, there is a 3 night minimum stay.
The House accommodates 16 guests comfortably, so whether you would like to have your family and friends with you in the lead up to the special day, or perhaps stay afterwards or for your honeymoon, all is possible, and it is our wish and aim to make this time perfect for you in every way.
