We are excited to share today a glimpse of the beautiful wedding of Shaun O’Neale, winner of USA MasterChef Season 7 and Katie Provost! Their wedding will be actually featured on an upcoming episode of MasterChef, on Wednesday, July 11th at 8:00PM EST, since the couple was married by Gordon Ramsay himself! The lovely couple exchanged their vows under a beautiful flower arch with white roses at Malibu Wine Safaris, in the presence of 100 of their closest friends and family! For her big day, the beautiful bride chose a chic strapless Vera Wang wedding gown and as you will see, she was stunning!
“We met on the dating app Bumble…”, the lovely bride shared and “…he proposed in San Francisco. We were there for a Macy’s event he was performing at that weekend. After his event, we walked around the city for a while and ended up in Palace of Fine Arts, where there coincidentally happened to be a wedding taking place. He stopped me after a few minutes of walking around the venue and popped the question! It was a special moment for both of us as we are both in our mid 30s and never been married and we both had been holding out for so long to find our soul mate”.
“The ceremony took place in Malibu, CA at Malibu Wine Safaris. Since most of our wedding was planned by the MasterChef team, we didn’t have much input on the theme, decorations, venue, etc. However, I definitely found inspiration from Chic and Stylish Weddings in the Etsy Finds & Bridal Accessories! With only having two months to plan and find the perfect dress/jewellery, sites like this made my life so much less stressful”.
“The best moment of our wedding was being blessed to have 100 of our closest friends and family put their lives on hold and with only 2 months’ notice, plan to travel to Malibu, CA in the middle of the week to share our special day with us. And obviously being the only couple in the world to have been married by Gordon Ramsay!”
“I had my heart set on the perfect wedding dress… completely my style – lace, Swarovski crystals, totally in your face. But then I went with one of my bridesmaids to pick up her dress at a different store and fell in love with a dress that was completely not the style I was looking for. I wasn’t even looking around at dresses! It just happened to be on a mannequin that I was passing by on our way to the fitting room. Vera Wang, completely plain and simple…classic beauty. I actually bought it because it reminded me of why I married my husband. He came along when I wasn’t looking and was completely different than anyone I ever dated. He ended up being the best thing that ever happened to me because I went outside my comfort zone. And that is how I felt about this dress”.
“I know it is said time and time again but be open. You may have dozens of wedding boards, colour schemes and ideas already mapped out. But just go with what feels right… not with what you think your style is because they could be two completely different things. And let your fiancé help do some of the legwork! It is his wedding too… not just yours”.
