Today we will transfer you to beautiful Kefalonia, where Eli and Francis tied the knot. The lush gardens of Villa Kalliste, the breathtaking sea view and the dreamy decoration created the perfect wedding setting for a luxurious celebration of love. The couple exchanged vows in front of a natural background and a beautifully adorned wooden arch with white fabric and fresh white flowers. After the ceremony, the couple, their family and friends enjoyed a delicious meal in the courtyard of the villa. The day was filled with emotions you won’t want to miss… Take a peek below and see how perfectly planned is this luxurious wedding by Cleopatra’s Weddings & captured by Adrian Wood Photography!
The bride shared with us: “We met at the University. The way he proposed was that he told me to drop all my plans and to go to dinner with him. When I walked into his home, he had huge beautiful bouquets and dropped down on one knee to ask me to marry him!”
“I wanted a very clean, simple, and elegant wedding dress but with a little bit of sexy! My wedding dress was pure white, halter style, v-cut in the front. It had zero stretch so it hugged very well into a mermaid shape. My train was not too long and not too short. I had crystal details on the back and buttons down the train. I wanted a dress that was beautiful and not your traditional sweetheart strapless style dress. My husband could not keep his eyes and hands off me! We both loved my wedding dress very much!”
“The ceremony took place in Kefalonia, Greece. I picked Kefalonia for my destination because my father is Greek, and we have a summer house there. Kefalonia is also close to Israel, where my husband’s family lives.”
“I wanted to go with a luxurious concept. My colors were mainly white, ivory, and beige. I love white on white and using different shades of the same colors. My bouquet was full of white roses and white orchids. It was perfection!”
“The best moment of my wedding was saying “I do” to my husband. Finally, it was all over and we were so happy and ready to eat, dance, and party! However, I must say that our Fireworks during our party stole the show as well!”
“I had two large very large center pieces that matched my bouquet. White roses and hanging orchids in a medium size ball shape. I had smaller centerpieces as well to fill the table. These had white and light pink flowers in a mirrored cube. My arch was dripping in orchids and white roses. I also had an “E” and an “F” floating in the middle of the pool. All the wedding decorations just flowed perfectly together.”
“I would advise a bride that is planning her wedding now to not listen to anyone, and just plan the wedding of your dreams. There is no one-way to do anything, especially your own wedding! Times and traditions have changed and not everyone can understand that.”
