We get to see completely amazing weddings cross our screens on a daily basis, but this 4 day wedding on a cruise ship (yes you read correct!), takes first place on our list of stunning and definitely unique weddings! The amazingly talented team at Modish Weddings & Events planned and organized this incredible wedding and as you will soon see through the gorgeous images captured by Kollektiva Photographers, this cruise ship wedding can only be described by one word… outstanding. “It took a privately chartered Cruise Boat, 1 Captain, 2 Cruise Operations Managers, 2 Wedding Planners, 1 Wedding Designer, a Michelin Star Chef, 18 Entertainers, 3 DJ’s, an entire team of photographers and videographers, 6 Hostesses and about 40 members of support staff to make this happen”, the Modish Weddings told us. “But the result would not have been the same had it not been for Leo and Seraphine’s positive and laid back attitude, their beautiful smiles and of course all of their wonderful and loving guests that brought fun and joy to the entire trip!”
“For at least one of our friends we were made for each other but the problem was we had never met. Living life between Hong Kong, Singapore, London and Beijing we shared many common friends and interests but never crossed paths. Our friend Amanda never gave up on the idea of us two being a couple and decided that her wedding in Mykonos would be the place where our story will begin; and so it happened. We spent hours talking, laughing and dancing and after a few ups and downs we finally became an item…”, the bride shared with us.
The amazing team from Modish Weddings & Events shared with us: “This beautiful, sweet and larger than life couple decided to treat themselves, their families and their friends to a full on, 4 day cruise of the Greek isles and finish at the exotic Istanbul, with themed parties every day, on location events, a lot of dancing, fun, and of course… a wedding! The journey started in Athens with a super fun pirate themed welcome party that lasted until early hours…”
“First stop: Mykonos! Given its meaning to the couple’s story and of course its reputation as “The party island” of the world, Mykonos had to be part of the cruise. This day was inspired by ancient Greece and in true Hellenic spirit we organised group games at the beach of Panormos to keep spirits up and give guests some fun memories.”
“Can’t have a wedding cruise without a wedding! The stunning island of Chios, balancing the Aegean blue with refined and old fashion beauty of historical mansions was the best place to host this intimate yet elegant wedding ceremony. Argentikon, a 16th century estate with luxury spaces and lavish surrounding gardens provided the perfect setting for Leo and Seraphine to exchange their vows until the time came for the big party back at the cruise ship.”
“The cruise ended in grandeur at Istanbul and a romantic stroll at the busy roads and markets of the city with the imposing splendor of the Blue Mosque in the background…”
