Santorini is one of the dreamiest places to visit and an incredibly romantic destination to tie the knot! Ashley and Daniel travel all the way to Greece to exchange their vows, having a stunning view as their backdrop! We loved the bohemian decoration with beautiful flower arrangements, gold details and pomegranates! Have a look at the lovely images captured beautifully by Eva Rendl and be mesmerized!
The bride shared with us: “Dan and I met when we were 14 years old, my family had just moved across the country for my Father to start a new job. He was best friends with my neighbour. Dan was one of the first people I met when I moved, and someone I would never forget. We never dated in high school, but we had plenty of chemistry. Enough chemistry to last 20 years”.
“My wedding dress was lace that also included intricate texture, with a fluttery bohemian silhouette. It felt romantic, yet simple and elegant which is what I wanted”.
“After years of following each other on social media, I ran into his dad at the office I worked at. I told his dad to tell Dan that I said hello. His dad informed Dan that I had moved back to our hometown (where Dan had just relocated back to as well) and we both realized that indeed we were both single. Dan asked me on a date, and we we’ve been inseparable ever since. After 1 month of dating we knew that we wanted to be married and were engaged 6 months later. He proposed in Colorado at the very top of a mountain surrounded by our family”.
“The ceremony took place in Santorini. Greece was the one place both of us had dreamed of visiting. We wanted our wedding to be a dream come true for both of us. It was truly the trip of a lifetime”.
“The style of our wedding was bohemian with natural elements from nature and Greece. We used pomegranates, gold and floral elements”.
“The best moment of our wedding was saying our vows to each other, which we both wrote ourselves”.
“For my bridal bouquet I chose berries, greens and deep reds”.
Bride’s advice: “Find a good wedding planner!”
