Gianna and Brian’s wedding took place at the Desert Willow Golf Resort, a lovely venue amidst a backdrop of sparkling lakes and beautiful mountain vistas. «We met through a mutual friend. My best friend from high school had joined the San Francisco Police Academy in 2018. As their academy was coming to an end in 2019, my friend through a birthday party where she included friends from high school, college, and her academy buddies. At that birthday party, the mutual friend introduced me to Bryan, but there was very minimal conversation. It wasn’t for a couple weeks until Bryan messaged me to ask me out on our first date.»

«In January of 2021, we went to Lake Tahoe with another couple to have a winter weekend away! On the first day of our trip, the four of us drove to Sand Harbor beach which overlooked the lake with snow surrounding us. On January 21st, Bryan dropped to one knee and proposed to me. Our two best friends were there to document the entire moment but at the same time it was so intimate and perfect. We had the whole weekend to celebrate and was really the best weekend. », the bride shared with us.

My aesthetic and vision for this wedding was desert neutrals. I wanted to focus on cream, sand, desert tones to really highlight the venue and location. My bouquet included quicksand roses, hydrangeas, white phalaenopsis, white ranunculus, and Sahara colored roses. The style of decoration was inspired by the desert and the mountains.

«Neutral tones have always been my aesthetic and I wanted to stick to that. From the furniture rentals to the throw pillows, and the small details, it all came together. I rented canvas colored furniture, with light wooden tables, and neutral linens to tie it all in. The details included custom cream cocktail napkins, custom matches, and signage that was the cherry on top. I absolutely love matches and think it is an old school keep sake that everyone loves. I didn’t want to include a favor that many have done before and wanted something that people can actually use. The matches were my signature touch! At our ceremony, we included minimalist cream fans on each seat and beautiful florals on each row and at the altar. »

The bride’s advice: «I know everyone says it, and I know it is easier said than done, but on the day of you need to enjoy every moment. You spent months and months planning, having meetings, and taking long calls to plan this day. Trust that all has been done, and for whatever goes wrong, no one else will know but you. I can confidently say I woke up on my wedding day ready to spend the day with my closest friends and ready to marry my best friend with no worry. I trusted the process that I have done everything I could up until that point, and it is now time to just enjoy the day and not stress about anything that comes my way. The day goes by too fast, enjoy your day with your partner, it is what you have been waiting for months. »

My favorite moment from our wedding was our final dance. After the after party and In N Out truck ended, Bryan and I shared one last dance before their final departure. It was super important to the bride and groom to share one last moment just the two of them to really soak up the whole day. We shared our final dance to the song Better Together by Luke Combs, and it was the perfect last moment.

«My wedding dress was made in Australia, and I bought it from Novella Bridal in San Francisco. I always knew what type of wedding dress I wanted and after trying on many dresses, I went back to the style I always had my heart set on. My dress had a sweetheart neckline and was fitted until the hips and started to flare out a bit. The lines and details on this dress were absolutely perfect. The lines of buttons all down my back was something I always wanted on my dress. Lastly, I worked with my seamstress to add custom loose sleeve straps that snapped on the back of the dress. The loose look of the sleeve completed the dress. »

If there is one thing in this world that can mesmerize us, that is pretty floral weddings just like Megans and Adams beautiful wedding in California! The stylish couple had an outdoor wedding ceremony at the Gardener Ranch, a rustic style venue situated amongst oak trees creating the most magical setting. and lush fields. Paulina Perrucci captured all the true emotions of their special day, and we are so happy to share with you all the lovely details!

«We met in San Francisco, and he proposed at the beach in Big Sur, CA. We were spending the day with friends and Adam caught me completely by surprise while we were taking a photo on the beach! We went to celebrate with champagne and lunch followed by a surprise dinner with both of our families and friends. », the bride shared with us.

I knew early on that I wanted light blue table linens with bright florals. While I love the classic look of white for weddings, I have always been drawn to blues and wanted something a little different than what I’d seen. Our wedding planner absolutely nailed my vision of classic yet colorful with French blues, cut glass wine and water glasses and colorful florals.

«During our consultation with our florist, we decided to add bright pinks, corals and stone fruit to the table decor which was such a unique touch! One of my favorite photos of the day was when my mom and I snuck out with two of my bridesmaids to check on the progress of the set up and I saw the huppah floral installation that our florist, Darcy, had done. It absolutely went beyond my expectations of the “living floral vine” concept we had discussed and tied in so beautifully with the venue and decor. I loved how unique it was. »

«It’s so hard to choose a favorite moment, everything went off without a hitch and there were so many incredible moments. But my favorite moment from our wedding was the dance floor. Being surrounded by everyone we love most in the world with a killer band was exactly what I’d been dreaming about during the planning process. »

For my wedding dress I ended up going in a completely different direction than I originally planned. I had always envisioned a classic A-line gown and when I tried them on, I just didn’t love them! I have always loved Monique Lhuillier but didn’t think I wanted a lace dress.

«The bridal consultant at SF bridal galleria convinced me to try my dress on, insisting it wasn’t a hanger dress and I just absolutely fell in love! The floral lace detailing was so stunning, and it fit the venue perfectly. »

The bride’s advice: «Don’t stress the small stuff! Trust the team you hired and realize that nobody will notice anything the way you do. »

The wedding of Lexie and Tyler in Green Valley, California could not be prettier with its romantic flowers in earthy tones and breathtaking outdoor setting! The couple decided to have their wedding day in a beautiful barn venue, The Barn at Green Valley, with the vast green gardens where the wedding ceremony took place, while the reception in the wonderful wooden barn with the rustic chandeliers added just the right amount of a rustic chic flair. Filled with such beautiful moments, this is definitely a wedding you won’t want to miss!

«We met in college back on the east coast, where I’m from. Soon after, I moved out to California, where he is from! We have lived in San Francisco since then, almost 10 years now. Tyler proposed in the iconic Golden Gate Park in the city after a long bike ride. We were in athletic clothes, slightly sweaty, and it was super low-key just the way we wanted it. », the bride shared with us.

The flowers I chose for the bouquet were all about earth tones with a subtle pop of color, and our flower vendor nailed it. I wanted the wedding to feel slightly bohemian, and mostly romantic.

«The venue was a barn, so I wanted to try to tone down the rustic vibe any way we could. The way the dinner tables were set up really drew the eye out the barn doors to the view of the vineyard, this was my favorite part. Other details I loved including were handwritten notes to each of our guests at their place setting with a custom wax seal. I also had lots of fun making the place “cards,” which were flat, rounded pieces of clay with the guests’ names stamped into it. We did both of these things so that guests felt thought about and loved. »

«My wedding dress was from BHLDN at Anthropologie. I loved it because it gave off a casual, fun, romantic vibe. I’m not a girl who is trying to wear super fancy dress and show off diamonds and glitter! I love the low back and the beautiful train. From the front the dress was beautiful, but when I turned around, it was like a fun little surprise! »

My favorite moment was sitting at the sweetheart table with my husband, taking a moment just the two of us to take it all in and look down the beautiful long tables of our guests. It was amazing having everyone we love there. The beautiful setting was a bonus.

From the Photographer: «Lexie and Tyler were married on a warm summer day at the The Barn at Green Valley in Fairfield, California. The Barn’s large open space and landscaped grounds provided the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding in Northern California. To make sure the vibe didn’t feel too rustic, their planners Riley Loves Lulu chose lots of modern touches to elevate the decor (included glass vases that Lexie hand wrote table numbers on). The day started with the couple and their wedding parties getting ready at River Terrace Inn in Napa before we all headed over to the Barn. Lexie had a sweet first look with her father before heading over to the ceremony space for a first look with Tyler. Their beloved doodle pup Louie also made an appearance to be a part of their group portraits. Lexie’s brother-in-law officiated the ceremony, adding a personal touch to the celebration. After the ceremony, guests were treated to cocktails and appetizers in the covered patio before the Barn was open for dinner. The two long kings’ tables felt grand and opulent, especially with Lexie and Tyler’s head table framed by the stunning wine country landscape outside the doors. We ducked outside after the touching toasts for some sunset portraits around the property before heading back inside for dancing and dessert. The party continued into the night as the sun dipped below the hills surrounding the vineyard valley. »

The wedding day was filled to the brim with romantic white blooms and olive leaves as nod to their Greek origin: «We wanted a classic style with a hint to my Greek culture. «My husband and I met at work. He was in sales, and I was in sales analytics. Fast forward 7 years, and he proposed on the LaSalle Street Bridge in Chicago on a perfect fall day. He surprised me by making sure our siblings were on the bridge to congratulate us immediately after the proposal, and several of our friends and family waiting back at our condo for a party! », the bride shared with us.

«I visited Chic and Stylish Weddings. It was great to see such a variety of other brides’ style, designs, and decor to take a bit of inspiration from each. »

«It’s an old tradition in Greece to walk from your home to the local church. I happen to live only a few blocks from my Greek Orthodox Church as well! I was able to walk from my home to the church with my family and best girlfriends as company. All the guests were waiting outside of the church to welcome us. »

«My wedding dress was a Wona Concept beaded gown purchased at LBR Bridal in Chicago. I tried on many dresses and didn’t think I would have that feeling of “the one” that other brides describe. And then, of course, the last dress at the last appointment was tried on and I immediately knew it. It was flattering with the perfect amount of glam. LBR helped me match the gown with a long train overskirt from Wona Concepts sister brand, Eva Lendel, which I wore from the ceremony. »

The bride’s advice: «Wedding planning should be fun! Make sure to listen to your partner and make sure the wedding is a perfect representation of both of you individually and both of you together. »

Dania and Davide lived their most beautiful day with a Greek – Italian wedding in Montreal that overflowed with romance and with George Mavitzis Photography capturing every moment and detail in the most beautiful way possible! All the wedding decoration consisted of gorgeous flowers such as white hydrangeas, peach carnations and details of baby breath. “We were introduced by our best man and maid of honor. I was on a month-long euro trip with friends, and we started communicating while I was there. When I returned to Montreal, he was leaving for a trip to Greece he had previously planned. After communicating everyday while he was there, we finally got to meet each other in person when he came back to Montreal and the rest is history! I am someone who loves being in nature. First, he took me to my favorite breakfast spot, and after that, we headed to Mount Royal Park where we walked the trails. There and then, is when he went on one knee and proposed to me.”

“The flowers I had in my bouquet were a mix of dried flowers and fresh flowers, calla, lily, roses, dried white fern leaves and ruckus, white natural dried palm leaf and bunny tails, eucalyptus stems, dahlias, chrysanthemums. At the ceremony we want a romantic-rustic-chic style with candles everywhere, with high centerpieces flowers mixed again with dried and fresh flowers. The hall has red brick everywhere, with beautiful hanging chandeliers.”, the bride shared with us.

The brides’ advice: “The day goes by so fast. I suggest that you take micro-moments where you pause and look around and capture it all in. These little moments are special and will always remain in your memory.”

The bride shared with us : “John and I met on April 7, 2013, my 22nd birthday, at a bar in downtown Chicago. John showed up to my party with a mutual friend and the rest was history. Four years later, on April 22, 2017, John proposed to me at the same place we shared many of our first few dates and just shy of one year at 364 days we got married on April 21, 2018; I guess you can say that April is kind of our month!”

“Wedding planning was fun and simple, John grew up with three older sister and I grew up with two older brothers, so this made us more understanding towards one another. We chose to get married at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago and followed our reception plans at Concorde Banquets. John and I had no issue picking both the church and reception, St. Andrew’s is the church John and his family have attended his entire life and is were all three of his sisters were married as well. Concorde Banquets won us over by the delish food and impeccable service by staff and owner.”

“My favorite part of my wedding was my dress, Vera Wang’s Vivianna gown, took my breath away from the moment I put it on. The high neck and fitted silhouette made it seem as though the dress was made for me. Overall the best moments from my wedding were definitely shared on the dance floor, our family and friends spent most of the night dancing with us in the traditional Greek dances as well as the top hits of the season. All of these moments were caught on camera by our fantastic photographers and videographers from George Kossieris and his crew. I knew I needed to have them after seeing their amazing work from a few of my friends, so we flew them in from Greece and had an incredible experience with them.”

“I had gone on vacation to visit my aunt and cousins in Lemnos, whom I had not seen in 7 years. The day after we got there, my cousins, whose house we were staying at, told us their koumbaro who had baptized their youngest son would also be going to stay with them for a few days. This koumbaro turned out to be Themis. We went out our first night all together and started talking. He asked me for my number, and the rest is history”, the bride shared with us.

“We had gone out to eat to one of our favorite restaurants, two weeks before Christmas. When we first sat down, he gave me a beautiful Christmas card with the most amazing words written inside. We continued on talking through dinner, and Themis kept mentioning how he wanted to get some rest before his soccer game that night. We ate and has a fabulous dinner, but I noticed that Themis kept looking around to see if the server was coming. When the server came and we paid the bill, I stood up and put on my coat, and told him for us to go so he can get some rest. Little did I know, he was ready to propose, but I ruined the moment!! haha Then we walked to the car and I received a phone call. I talked and got in the car, and when I hung up and turned to Themis, he had the ring out and asked me to marry him there. It couldn’t have been a more us moment. We have yet to stop laughing about it!”

“The ceremony took place in St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway, New Jersey. I grew up in New Jersey, and in the St. George Church. It was important for my family for us to get married there.”

“My wedding dress was the perfect dress for me. It made me feel like the most beautiful woman on that special day. It was designed by Stephen Yearick. It was a mermaid fit, with lots of bling and design on the bottom.”

“I was going for elegance in my wedding, and the colors were a periwinkle blue, silver, and white. The wedding decorations were three different types of centerpieces, all white and ivory with hints of bling. There were centerpieces with low candles, jars with bling and flowers, medium centerpieces with 4 cylinders and white flowers, and high centerpieces with flowers.”

Christina and Paul’s Scottish wedding with burgundy and blush colors could not have been more gorgeous! These two lovebirds had a traditional Scottish wedding with an elegant, natural style full of flowers and colors. Reception venue was decorated perfectly with big flower burgundy and blush bouquets, candles, string lights and other DIY, unique details relative to the different countries of the world. The sweet bride impressed everyone in her in her Pronovias, lace wedding dress and her effortless elegant look. “We met in November 2010 at the birthday party of two mutual friends. We got engaged in Barcelona in July 2015 in front of the Fountains of Montjuic. Paul got down on one knee with my great granny’s engagement ring which I had always loved. “I found my wedding gown relatively easy to choose my dream dress as I knew I wanted a fitted dress with lace. I wanted a dress which was modern but elegant. I found my dress in a shop called Anne Priscilla Bridal in Glasgow. They had the most amazing selection of dresses and the staff there completely understood what style of dress I was looking for. I felt that the Pronovias dress which I chose was elegant and suited to the classic venue. The fabric was amazing quality and it was such an easy dress to wear all day.”

“We never started out with a theme/style of wedding in mind for our big day. We thought the interior of our venue was so beautiful that it wasn’t so necessary to have a bold style. We wanted a traditional Scottish wedding that was elegant and natural.”

“My tips to future brides is to do not get too stressed over the minor details. Nobody really cares! I threw a bridezilla fit the day before the wedding when we were setting up the venue as I thought the speakers looked huge. In hindsight…it really didn’t matter! The whole venue looked great even with the speakers. Remind yourself that your wedding guests aren’t going to notice the tiny details which haven’t gone to plan. All that really matters is that everyone is having a good time!”

Today we’re sharing with you, one of the most beautiful and well-planned weddings we had ever seen! And the best part about this? Bride planned the entire wedding by herself! Gorgeous flowers in pink and dark magenta color perfectly decorated the venue and the guest tables. The place was incredible and ideal for such a wedding. An elegant touch that glittered in the sky was the impressive, hanging chandeliers which the bride had chosen, in order to give a romantic sense. The magic day ended with delicious sweets and the dreamy couple’s dance.

“A lot of people don’t know I planned the entire wedding by myself. I chose the colors, decor – everything down to floor. I would group message my mom and Logan’s, but I always ended up knowing and going with my gut instinct”, bride shared with us.

“I wanted it to be whimsical romance with an undone, raw edge. I wanted pinks and dark magenta and I wanted my bouquet to have texture and movement (as opposed to classic bouquets). I am a bit of a wild card (and so is Logan), so I wanted to show that but still represent the love we have.”

“The flowers, and my desserts were my other favorite parts of the wedding – oh and the chandeliers! I wanted glitter doughnuts and rice krispies. I just wanted everyone to have a good dessert that was probably part of their childhood, and those were a part of ours so it made sense. For the romantic feel we wanted, the chandeliers were a must. I was like “hang them everywhere!”.”

“My biggest advice would be the cheesiest! Relax, enjoy yourself, don’t stress and use the bathroom before you walk! Also go for two dresses! I did and my best friend got me beautiful Swarovski crystal foot jewelry and I actually paired that with a skirt and the top that technically went with my dress! I wanted a bohemian Carrie Bradshaw type feel and to have fun and no bride can truly cut loose with high heels on the dance floor… So get a second dress and toss the heels… Have fun and dance!”
