«We met in London, after we both moved there for work. Our first date was a high tea at the Ivy restaurant where Ian was trying to figure out if I like him or not, by peering at me through the cake tray. Ian proposed on a sunny day in Richmond Park which is one of our favorite places in London full of trees, deer, and lakes. », bride shared with us.

«My wedding dresses were both from Primalicia in Athens. The veil was also from Primalicia. The main wedding dress was a bespoke gown by the tailoring team who did an excellent job. I wanted to enjoy the party and dance so I chose a second dress for the occasion. »

«My favorite moment of the wedding was being presented to my future husband outside the beautiful seaside church by my proud and happy uncles who were giving me away, and then stepping into the church and down the aisle to begin our new life together. Of our guests, the Greek contingent most enjoyed our bagpiper in full Highland dress, who flew from Edinburgh for our wedding, for those coming from abroad it was smashing plates! »

«Our wedding decoration was elegant with white, ivory and green colors. The bridal bouquet was white peonies. We wanted to match the Greek and Scottish styles by incorporating an olive tree with a thistle in our motif. For our wedding table decoration, we chose beige tones with gold details. We used hand painted oyster shells with gold trim for the place names for each guest and jars of homemade marmalade and flower soaps for our wedding favors. We thought it was a nice touch that our guests would enjoy and keep as a moment of the day. Our wedding cake was a seven-tier custom made British style cake designed to match our theme with ivory 3D edible flowers. »

You need to be able to fully enjoy your day and not be worrying about admin.»

However, we were fortunate enough to work with amazing professionals such as Tasos Aggelou Photography, Dionisis our videographer, John our bagpiper, Efi and Areti our hair and makeup artists and Spilios our amazing pastry chef. The original idea was for the decoration to be in white shades, however as we got closer to summer, we decided that it will be very nice for our wedding to be bright and have lots of color in our day! So we ended up at Fevronia Luxury Concepts and with the help of her stylish team, we decided that my round bouquet would have white peonies while the rest of the decor for both the venue and the floral arch impressed everyone with details of fuchsia peonies, white delphiniums, coral and white sprigs of lisianthus and beautiful yellow dahlias. The hanging lighting bubbles and candles at the venue are something that I highly recommend not missing from your decoration as they give a magical feeling as the daylight falls!”

«In 2021, after being in a relationship for almost 7 years, we went on vacation together with my sister and his best friend. After spending a few days there and with the excuse of a fancy dinner, he told me to dress up. Before the dinner started, he said that he wanted to show me something. I was suspicious but still didn’t believe or thought that he was going to propose. He took me on a roof terrace, where I was welcomed by a wonderful ocean view from one side and a beautiful mountain view from the other side. He decorated the terrace with fairy lights and candles and two violinists were playing music. While they played our favorite song, he popped the question I just hugged him and started to cry out from happiness. And then my sister and his best friend joined us, which meant a lot to me having my sister with me in this moment. After toasting and enjoying the moment, we went to a nice restaurant. After a while he asked me out of the blue: “So I still don’t know do you want to marry me?” I was so in shock, I totally forgot to say yes, when he proposed. But of course I said I do…hours later!»

«As an architect and artist I love aesthetics. So I always knew how I wanted my wedding and decorations to be. Luckily my husband let me decide everything regarding the decoration. Even though I love using bright colors for my paintings, I knew I wanted to express my love for earth like tones, which represent both our love for nature. So I created a mood board to sum up my ideas and we asked our guests to wear nude, gold and creamy-beige earth colors, to match the theme.»

So finding the right wedding planner is the most important thing like finding the right photographer/videographer and DJ. Talk to a few and check their work and reviews. And its also important that there is a connection between the couple and the vendors. For us Xenia was very lovely and kind but still very professional, which was important for us. Also with our photographers “Hopestudio”. As your photographer will accompany you the whole day, it is important to feel comfortable with them. Especially if one of the couples are not the type of person who likes or feel comfortable while being photographed. With their professional work our pictures turned out amazing. Second advice for couples is to create yourself a mood board before consulting a wedding planner. It helps and saves you and your planner a lot of time. With a visualization it’s easier to filter or add things based on your mood board. Even if you don’t know how you want the result to be, it’s helpful when it’s only a color palette or details that you want to have at your wedding… A good wedding planner is always worth their money because they help you from the beginning until the end and put a lot of work to create the wedding of your dreams.»

“Our story began classically, with two right swipes on everyone’s favorite dating app, Tinder. Kellen was living his best single life in London while Emma was struggling to feel at peace in Sweden so decided to move away to study English (which she barely spoke at the time) in London for 4 months at the International Language school. After a few weeks of flirty conversation, the two finally met up at a McDonalds and went for a Friday beer at a pub off Liverpool Street. One beer became many and at the end of the date, Emma swapped a kiss to get them free falafels and they both woke up laughing the next day and thinking that it was the funniest night but will probably never ever see each other again. But they did. They just kept meeting up, Emma realized Kellen wasn’t Australian and his job for Amazon wasn’t delivering packages, Kellen realized Emma only understood half of the words he was saying… And they both enjoyed getting too tipsy at all kinds of bars in London for weeks and fell deeper in love. Until one day, Emma decided to cancel her plans to return to Sweden at the end of her classes and stay in London…. and the rest is history!”

«For our wedding decoration we chose white roses, lilies, white orchids, white calla lilies and eucalyptus. White was the main color we went for the arch over the doorway of the church and the group of different size of vases with flowers and floating candles along the aisle. My bridal bouquet was made up of white calla lilies which was extremely elegant. The guest tables were also decorated with a 3 different size of vases with roses, floating candles and orchids keeping in the theme. Also, we had an amazing candy bar filled in with cake pops, cupcakes, cookies with our initials on the top accompanied with white orchids”, the bride shared with us.

“We met on a night out in Liverpool in December 2009. We clicked straight away and saw each other nearly every day since. For the proposal he got our daughters to make a card with a drawing of me with a ring on and wrote “To mummy, say yes!”, it was on my birthday in front of friends and family.
