From the bride: “We met through mutual friends in 2007, when we were 18 years old. Michael proposed to me on our 5th anniversary in Fiji in 2012. It was a complete suprise to me, with Michael purchasing my engagement ring the day before we left Australia for Fiji. He took me to a secluded lookout on sunset, at the Shangri-la Resort. It was so romantic and we enjoyed a nice meal together after”.
“The ceremony took place at the Cocoon Suites in Santorini, Greece on the 21st of September. We had planned a 6 week backpacking trip through Europe. Approximately 6 weeks before leaving Australia we decided to elope. I originally suggested to Michael to elope in Venice, Italy. That was when I contact Ema from EMA Giangreco Weddings. Communication with Ema was easy through Skype and messenger and she was always quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. I got speaking to Ema about our trip and she suggested we change the location to Santorini and I am so glad she did! What a beautiful destination!”
“The reason Michael and I had not married sooner was all the planning and stress involved in having a wedding. Ema made it stress free for us and organised everything – the style, colours, vendors, the flowers, my wedding dress (which was absolutely amazing!). I had sent Ema my measurements and tried the dress on the night before the wedding and I had goosebumps with how perfect it was. The dress had come from Atelier Zolotas. It was beautiful and so comfortable to wear! I loved everything about the day”.
“We also met our photographer, Lilly Red Creative and videographer, Alessandro Bordoni Films, the night before our wedding. They instantly made us feel comfortable. The day was incredibly windy, but they worked with it and produced the most beautiful memories for us”.
“The best moment of our wedding obviously was marrying my soul mate. But I will never forget enjoying the magic of the Santorini sunset with my husband at the end of the day”.
“I would advise other brides to contact an excellent wedding planner. It made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. I highly recommend all our vendors. They made our day so special!”
