From Lefkas Weddings: «Ben and Lauren from the UK married in Lefkada at the end of September 2022 with 90 guests. They got engaged at Christmas 2020 and wanted to get married in Greece. We showed them several villas on the island, and they fell in love with a villa private estate with its own olive grove and tiny chapel. Situated on the north-west coast of Lefkada with panoramic views and surrounded by olive and fruit trees gave the rustic feel that they were searching for. The theme was timeless green and white florals with a pop of orange reflecting the autumn pomegranate trees on the estate. The bride’s bouquet was a mix of white Ecuador roses, mini orange roses, astilbe, eucalyptus and ruscus. The bridesmaids wore sage green dresses, and each wore a wrist corsage of white roses and hypericum berries. The ceremony was in front of the little chapel with white fabric draped in the old olive tree and a flower column. Stationery was designed for the wedding with a map of the estate, and they named each part of the day in memory of their various grandparents. They wanted a personal ceremony which was written by celebrant Michaella Chatziagelou and included a blessing from each mother. For makeup, she chose soft smokey eyes and bright red lips to accent her beautiful features. Music was an important investment and feature of the day. They chose Sax Tom to accompany them down the aisle and play smooth vibes for the drink’s reception. The evening party was on fire with the rock tunes of the Athens-based band, Yakuza Six. Pre-wedding cocktail evening was held at Maraboo on the east coast of the island, and the couple arrived separately, taking a luxury speedboat cruise down the coast from Lefkada. »

«We met in San Francisco, and he proposed at the beach in Big Sur, CA. We were spending the day with friends and Adam caught me completely by surprise while we were taking a photo on the beach! We went to celebrate with champagne and lunch followed by a surprise dinner with both of our families and friends. », the bride shared with us.

I knew early on that I wanted light blue table linens with bright florals. While I love the classic look of white for weddings, I have always been drawn to blues and wanted something a little different than what I’d seen. Our wedding planner absolutely nailed my vision of classic yet colorful with French blues, cut glass wine and water glasses and colorful florals.

«During our consultation with our florist, we decided to add bright pinks, corals and stone fruit to the table decor which was such a unique touch! One of my favorite photos of the day was when my mom and I snuck out with two of my bridesmaids to check on the progress of the set up and I saw the huppah floral installation that our florist, Darcy, had done. It absolutely went beyond my expectations of the “living floral vine” concept we had discussed and tied in so beautifully with the venue and decor. I loved how unique it was. »

«It’s so hard to choose a favorite moment, everything went off without a hitch and there were so many incredible moments. But my favorite moment from our wedding was the dance floor. Being surrounded by everyone we love most in the world with a killer band was exactly what I’d been dreaming about during the planning process. »

For my wedding dress I ended up going in a completely different direction than I originally planned. I had always envisioned a classic A-line gown and when I tried them on, I just didn’t love them! I have always loved Monique Lhuillier but didn’t think I wanted a lace dress.

When you have the rolling hills of Tuscany and the backdrop of Montepulciano as your ceremony backdrop you do not need much in the way of decorations, but we made sure that all the elements we did include were inspired by the rustic charm and natural beauty of the Tuscan countryside. «My favorite part of the decoration details was the private balcony off of our room that was turned into a Tuscan fairytale by our floral designer. We had olive branches and greenery from a Tuscan vineyard that was installed overhead on the balcony overhang with tons of hanging candles to create the most romantic lighting. The same olive branches, greenery, and candles were placed all around the balcony from floor area to our dinner table, the cake table, etc. »

Despite the intimate elopement, no corners were cut in terms of details or expenses. Every element typically found in a traditional wedding – exquisite decor, a stunning venue, and all the customary features – was present. However, the key difference was that it was just the two of us, relishing a moment of undivided attention and devotion. Having both experienced the grandeur of large weddings in our previous marriages, we recognized how easily the focus can shift towards entertaining guests rather than celebrating the essence of the couple. The church entrance was beautifully decorated with a wonderful floral garland of white hydrangeas, orange roses, greenery and wooden details that gave the decoration a chic rustic flair! The bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous with orange, dusty pink and white roses and orchids while the guests came to celebrate with the couple this special day after receiving the beautiful invitations prepared for them by To Monogramma. Florenia looked stunning in her Primalicia Bridal Designers wedding dress while she can’t wait to meet her future husband-to-be!

«We were college sweethearts. Our love story began in college at the University of Georgia. We caught each other’s eye in our junior year business classes. Our first date was breakfast at Walker’s Coffee Shop before class and there was immediate chemistry, at least enough to warrant a second date at a more exciting location! Then we were college sweethearts all our junior and senior years. The rest is history! The Proposal. It has been an exciting seven years. We have loved traveling the world together and call Atlanta home.  We got engaged in our favorite city, Rome, while on a romantic picnic in the Gardens of the Villa Borghese. Our shared love of travel led us to want a destination wedding. We are falling in love with the romantic vibes from Argyros and Giannis wedding in Tinos, one of Greece’s beautiful islands. Their summer wedding was meticulously decorated so beautifully by Keraso Events with pampas grass and chic details such as the statement bamboo armchair that was also placed in the reception area creating the most beautiful backdrop for the photos! The bride was wearing a stylish wedding dress from b boutique with long sheer sleeves, an open back, A-line style and lace. She looked stunning! For their Greek wedding ceremony, the couple chose to have gold wedding wreaths from Laka Luka. It could not have been a more perfect day for the couple!

“Our wedding decoration had a boho flair. My bridal bouquet had white roses and pampas grass. Everything was wonderful and especially the decoration at the church at the rice stand that was decorated with pampas grass. At the reception everything was lovely: from the decoration on the tables to the wedding favors. Of course I think the spotlight was the boho bamboo armchair with two large compositions with pampas where guests took pictures. Any wedding at Columbia Beach Resort is going to be wonderful since it is such an amazing location for destination weddings in Cyprus and it definitely has all the elements to create such unforgettable setting for your special day! Stephani and Michalis tied the knot in the unique chapel at the resort, with Byzantine inspired murals in vivid colors designed by English painter, John Corbidge. Their hotel wedding reception was beautifully decorated with garden flowers and potted plants were given to the guests as creative wedding favors (we absolutely loved that idea!). The couple shared with us that their wedding theme was inspired by their walks at Canterbury. Such a beautiful idea!
