The wedding we are featuring today will impress you with its boho chic style and its elegance! Giota and Savvas chose to get married on a beautiful spring day, celebrating their love with their loved ones. We adore the beautiful decoration from Oneiropagida, who transformed the reception area with macramé, pampas grass arrangements, fairy lights, glass décor items and gold details, creating an impressive setting that mesmerized us. The bride was stunning in her beautiful wedding dress with long sleeves and unique lace details, holding a chic white bridal bouquet with peonies, lisianthus, astilbe and greenery. The bride shared with us: “We met at a dinner with our siblings! From that moment we were inseparable. He proposed 3 years later at the same restaurant we met. We got married in spring at the church of Agios Panteleimonas in Drama”.

Today’s couple chose to tie the knot at a lovely location with an amazing view of the caldera. “The ceremony took place at Thermes Villas in Santorini. Santorini is the most beautiful place – it’s so calm and busy at the same time. We chose Thermes Villas for its secluded location that was not over looked at all. We hired the entire venue for 5 days so all our family could stay at the outstanding villas and we could all be in one place for the ceremony and reception. The views were just spectacular”.

“We went for a Gatsby style wedding. We chose blue bridesmaids to match the colours of Santorini and Gatsby grey suits with blue ties for the boys. Our table decorations were white and gold with feather centre pieces and candles everywhere. We wanted it to have a romantic feel with floating candles and lanterns everywhere”.

Today we’re sharing the rustic vintage wedding of Bonnie and Ben. These two lovebirds chose to seal their love in Cyprus, where they had previous holidays and loved the place. They wanted something intimate and quiet, so they organized their wedding in a small traditional hotel in the Nicokleia village. The venue Vasilias Nikoklis Inn was the perfect location for such a wedding! The place was beautifully adorned with rustic and vintage details such as trunks, burlap, lace, gypsophila and blush pink roses. The bride shared with us: “We met nearly 14 years ago in a bar on a night out in town. After a few dates we knew we were made for each other. 4 years passed we had moved in to our first home together and were expecting our first baby. A couple more years passed and on the day before our son Freddie’s 2nd birthday, Ben took me to a restaurant called FREDDIES, where he had booked a lovely table and told the restaurant staff what he was planning to do. Halfway through our meal he was acting very nervous and i had no idea what was about to happen, he stood up then got down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant, took my stunning engagement ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him. The Champagne was already on ice which was bought over to us by the waiters as soon as I said yes. One of the happiest days of my life which I’ll never forget.”

“Believe it or not, my mum saw my wedding dress a couple of years after Ben proposed and she knew I’d love it. She bought it without me knowing. When we finally set a date 6 years after the proposal she told me she had it, the first time I saw it I fell in love with it. The dress itself, is a Vintage style with a white mesh bottom with a vintage structured bodice, which is embellished with sequins, bugle beads and mini pearls.”

“We always wanted to get married in Cyprus as we’d had previous holidays together there. We didn’t want a beach or hotel wedding, we wanted something private, quiet and personal with close family & friends. Our amazing wedding planner Vicki Squirrel from Tie The Knot suggested it to us along with a few other stunning locations but the Vasilias Nikoklis Inn stood out so much more, as soon as we looked into it further we realised it was our perfect venue.”

“As for our wedding decoration, we went for a nice rustic and simple look, we didn’t want to over complicate things by using lots of different colours and decor. We used neutral colours and natural items on the table. Plenty of lovely fairy lighting and candles. Hanging white bird cages & hearts.”

Jo & Rich chose to seal their love in the beautiful island of Lefkada, in a romantic seaside venue. The bride approached the wedding ceremony by boat, wearing her lovely boho style flower wreath and looking stunning in her elegant wedding dress with lace details and long sleeves. The bridal bouquet was made with silk flowers in peach, white and rose hues, decorated with family pieces of jewelry as ornaments. We loved the vintage and chic decoration of the wedding reception tables which were decorated with burlap runners and glass vases with fresh flowers and candles. “We both love the outdoors and we went for a weekend to a cottage in Creetown, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland so we could walk and bike ride. On one of the days we did mountain biking in Kirroughtree forest and Rich proposed at next to a Loch which has one of the 7stanes stone sculptures next to it. It is a beautiful place. The sculpture there is the Hidden Gem, a 1.75 tone stone made from Scottish pink quartz.”

“My wedding ring is a rose gold and diamond set shaped band to fit round my engagement ring. Rich’s ring is a classic white gold court ring. Both from Goldsmiths in Leeds, UK.”

“I bought the bridesmaids dresses from ‘Very’. They were dusty pink with a pleated skirt. I wanted something light and floaty for Greece and that suited the shape of all my bridesmaids. The blush pink matched my centrepieces and the buttonholes.”

“I made my own flowers as I wanted to use them again for our wedding party back in England. I bought silk flowers from Country Basket which I used for the bride and bridesmaid bouquets, center pieces and buttonholes. I used family pieces of jewelry as ornaments on the flowers.”

“My wedding dress was Love Marley by Watters, style 53103. I loved the boho feel and the heirloom inspired lace and bell sleeves which had a romantic look. I had always wanted a dress that was different to anything I had seen before. My bridal shoes was Tamara in Blush Satin with a drop diamanté ankle loop from Pink by Paradox London.
Rich’s outfit was from Slater Menswear in Leeds. The wedding jacket is by 7 Square, navy blue with a lighter blue pin stripe through it. Matched with cream chinos and brown leather deck shoes.”

This couple’s love for Greece made them have their gorgeous wedding in one of their favorite places, at Agreco Farm in Crete. The wedding was inspired by the natural surroundings, so the decoration followed a rustic, vintage style with wooden, lace details and many, many flowers. Flower designs in white and deep pink color tones adorned every single table, the olive trees and the impressive, delicious wedding cake. “My husband and I met at work. He proposed by during an Art Fair in my favorite neighborhood, Old Town in Chicago. Prior to the Art Fair, Andy worked with a photographer to capture individual chalkboards at my favorite places in Old Town. Each chalk board had a word inscribed “Will” “You” “Marry” “Me”. Andy then had the photographs printed and framed as one piece of art. A week later when I walked through the Art Fair, he led me towards an artist’s stall, and as I approached, I saw a beautiful photo composition that read, “Anita, will you marry me, love Andy”, when I turned around, Andy was on bended knee”, the bride shared with us.
