Today we’re sharing a wedding of two people who are meant to be together! After eight years, Maideh and Athanasios met again, fell in love and decided to begin a new life together. The motto of this unique wedding was “Journey of love” as both bride and groom have different nationalities. It was a gorgeous wedding next to the sea with the perfect decoration in white and peach colors that makes it even better. Impressive candlesticks and fragrant flowers decorated with the most beautiful way the venue and created a chic style. Such an elegant, minimal wedding that it has a sweet, hidden love story!
“My husband and I get to know each other for the first time 8 years ago, where we dated two times but apparently he didn’t like me because he never called back. After 8 years I catched his attention on Lovoo similar to Tinder (app for singles), where he started talking to me without recognizing me. So we dated for 4 months and 1 year later on the 14th of February on Valentine’s day he proposed to me”, the bride shared with us.
“The best moment of our wedding was when I entered the ceremony at the beach and I saw Athanasios with tears in his eyes and being so nervous and shaky…that was the moment where I had goosebumps. But at the same time seeing all my guests enjoying themselves and dancing laughing …it was incredible.”
“For me it was very important to have a mix of a story, a romance and a real snapshot of the wedding showing the joy, the amazing moments of the guests on a natural way rather than a played way. Atheaton Films knew from the beginning what to do and it was amazing working with him together. The outcome of the video says everything.”
“The concept and the style was a mix of elegance but also minimalist! I really loved to have the mix of white with peach and gold.”
“The motto of the wedding was “Journey of Love” because Athanasios and I have different nationalities: I am Persian and he is Greek but both born in Germany, but our guests were also quite international such as from the Netherlands, Turkey, Russia, Montenegro, India, Cameroon, Argentina, Italy. Thus, according to the motto I my table numbers were represented by different countries and not numbers. And since I love to travel around the world my decoration was also adapted to the motto with post/greeting cards with the world map. I also had globe.”
” It wasn’t that easy to find a dress, because it had to be suitable for the beach but also be elegant, but at the end I was successful to find my dress in Germany in Cologne. It’ s a mermaid style dress, chic with a corsage with a low back.”
