The town of Pylos in Greece, is a naturally gorgeous location for a destination wedding and Mia and Nickos day was indeed just like a fairytale. The couple celebrated their love with an intimate ceremony in a gorgeous olive grove overlooking the sea. Between the stylish couple, the beautiful decoration with dusty blue florals, the enchanting melody by One Cello N a Half and the tasteful dining experience by 2CHEFS Gastronomy Catering, this wedding in Greece is one worth remembering!

«We met at a BBQ restaurant in Memphis TN, we were both living in the state for work and had a mutual friend visiting who invited us out for dinner. After 3 years of dating, we moved to NYC with our pets. On a February morning, Nickos took Mia for a stroll at Central Park and proposed at the iconic Gapstow Bridge. », the bride shared with us.
«For our wedding we wanted to incorporate soft blues – this can be seen in our draped arch and the bridal bouquet. We love hydrangeas, delphiniums, and roses! We were hoping for an elegant, romantic, and intimate setting for our ceremony and reception as our group was very small. Elena, our wedding coordinator from Golden Leaf Events and florist, was able to capture that perfectly!»
We loved having the candlelit dinner with our close family underneath the olive trees, while the sound of ocean waves and peaceful violin/cello melody from One Cello N a Half played in the background. We enjoyed a delectable 6 course dinner from 2CHEFS Gastronomy Catering that consisted of elevated local cuisine and seaside ingredients. It was a dream come true!

«Our favorite moment at our wedding was the first look. We chose to have separate vows that were reserved specifically for our first look, we were unplugged and were able to share a special and private moment together. For us, it was all about coming together as husband and wife and committing to each other for the rest of our lives – the first look was our first step towards a new life together. It was a moment of magic and calmness in the midst of all the wedding festivities and it helped ground us. »
At the end of the day, everything will be perfect because you are marrying the love of your life. You will look back and laugh at all the things that popped up unexpectedly. Take the time to really soak in each moment of the day as it will go by in the blink of an eye!

«My wedding dress was purchased at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC, it is by Australian designer Martina Liana. It is both elegant and ethereal with enchanting details of pearl beadwork, florals, shimmer layers, and romantic off the shoulder sleeve jacket. »
