An idyllic beach setting in Greece (perfect for a destination wedding!), a seriously gorgeous concept designed with perfection by Rock Paper Scissors and with Elias Kordelakos behind the lens you just know that this soiree will captivate your attention… immediately!
“We wanted a beach destination wedding in a county we love, where all our guests can have easy access to all our guests who flew from US, Canada, Australia, Kuwait, Dubai and Lebanon” the lovely bride shared with us.
“Our wedding was a beach elegant soiree wedding. The style was very minimal, fresh, luxurious, and the color theme was peach and blush tones.”
“My wedding bouquet had peonies, dahlias, astilbe, English roses, ranunculus, eustoma, lysianthus and hydrangeas”
“I loved my wedding dress! It was my dream dress, custom made and designed for me by the Lebanese designer Nadim Olivera at Labourjoisie fashion house.”
“Our wedding planner, Helena Chaviara from Rock Paper Scissors was amazing at sharing ideas and moodboards, and inspiring us. I also used pinterest and social media to save ideas I like and share with her.”
“Our wedding guests found their seating in a lovely stand with polaroids taken during their entrance, a jazz band played some laid out music and when everyone heard the “I do’s” white balloons were released to the sky…”
“The most memorable moment for us was after we finished our vows and all our guests flew white balloons into the sky while the jazz band played the song “What a wonderful world”. Also the first dance was so beautiful with us on the beach and everyone gathered around us…”
The bride’s advice: “If you are planning a destination wedding, make sure you visit the area at least 6 months prior to the wedding to checkout the venue and not just depend on pictures. We had to change our venue one month prior to the wedding! Because when I finally went for a visit I felt the space was not spacious enough and doesn’t feel as elegant as in pictures. Luckily our wedding planner worked magic and we were able to replace it with a gorgeous venue. But it definitely adds a lot of stress to the process that can be avoided if you visit the venue early on…”
