We are sharing today a unique wedding video that will mesmerize you! Today’s couple loves travelling a lot, so a destination wedding was an easy choice for them. Cape Town, South Africa was the perfect setting for their big day and a place their friends and family would love to explore! Adding various elements from Africa into their wedding day and celebrations, made their wedding even more unique! Watching the video and witnessing one beautiful moment after another, the smile on your face only gets bigger! Enjoy it!
From the bride: “Our videographer, White Lines has captured the day so beautifully, like a magical whirlwind that takes us back to that special day whenever we watch this video, which starts with Paul’s emotional narrative, to laughters throughout. Paul is from Guam, and I’m from South Africa, but both are of Taiwanese ethnicity, and we are brought together through work in Shanghai! Paul and I have traveled so much (35 countries!) during the 4 years we’ve been together, he proposed on Christmas Day in a glass igloo in Finland, and we immediately knew we wanted a destination wedding, somewhere very special to ensure our family and friends will truly enjoy not just our wedding, but the travel experience as well”.
“We loved Africa the most, so Cape Town, South Africa is obviously the most perfect destination! We have guests flown in from all over the world, and most of them didn’t know what to expect from Africa, so we wanted to give them a truly unique African experience from the day they landed! We had a “global arrivals” welcome dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant, kicking off everyone’s Cape Town tour days before the wedding, then a braai for rehearsal dinner (a traditional South African bbq), and on the wedding day, we collaborated with a wildlife sanctuary called the Cheetah Outreach to have two young male cheetahs, Romeo and Magick join the wedding as part of their awareness program, also using African proteas as part of our decor, and finally, the venue itself is one of the most famous vineyards in Cape Town, providing South African wines throughout the day. I’ve enjoyed planning the destination wedding so much! From quitting my job to completely dedicate my time on planning the wedding and a tour itinerary for our guests, a husband who supports all my decisions, and finally seeing everyone having such an amazing time, there’s really nothing more that I could ask for!”
