After 10 years together, Nikki and Michalis decided to become a family and seal their love in the church. They wanted something more than a wedding, their aim was to create a fun and relaxed celebration for their lasting and deep love. After their beautiful ceremony in Limassol, Cyprus, the couple and the guests enjoyed the dreamy view of the Galu Seaside, a perfect venue literally in the sea. After two days, they organized a big party at Amathus Beach Hotel in which, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and danced all night. Enjoy every single moment of a wedding celebration through the following photos by Antonis Prodromou!
From the bride: “We met in Hatfield, Hertfordshire (UK). We both went to the UK to study at the University of Hertfordshire. Michalis was studying Accounting & Finance and I was studying Law. We met through other students/friends.”
“Actually, Michalis did not propose officially. After 10 years of being girlfriend and boyfriend we decided that it is time to get married. We went together at the jewellery shop to choose the design of the engagement ring.”
“The wedding dress I wore at the ceremony and the reception was designed especially for me by Stelios Koudounaris, a talented fashion designer based in Athens. It was a dress which reflected my personality and style. For the dinner / party I wore a dress, also designed for me by MI-RO Designers.”
“The ceremony took place in Limassol, at Prophet Elias Church in Germasogeia. The concept and the colors of our wedding was black and white striped. We found inspiration and ideas through Pinterest.”
“For my flower bouquet I picked white peonies and mini roses. We chose only white flowers combined with black and white stripes with some gold details.”
“Our wedding was a bit complicated. It was a 2-days wedding. Michalis is from Larnaca and I am from Limassol. We decided that the events should take place in both cities. Therefore, on Thursday 07/06 the ceremony took place in Prophet Elias Church in Limassol, the location of which was convenient was our guests both from Larnaca and Limassol and then the reception followed at Galu Seaside in Larnaca, a perfect place literally in the sea. We chose Galu Seaside as it is one of the best venues in Cyprus for such events. On 09/06 we had our dinner / party at Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol, one of the best hotels in Cyprus, as we wanted to offer to our guests a great place to celebrate with us.”
“The best moment of our wedding was the party.”
“My advice to a bride who is planning her wedding now is not to stress and ask for help and support professionals.”
