Impressive beige pampas grass, unique dried flowers and hydrangeas in warm hues is just the beginning of this modern boho wedding in Mani. Sally and Joe tied the knot in fall with a scenery that you won’t want to miss! We love the pastel tones and the rustic touches, especially the geometrical arch with the idyllic background. We are seriously obsessing over all the photos by Konstantinos Theofilopoulos Photography so get ready to enjoy every minute of them!
«We got married in Fall in Stoupa. I met my husband whilst backpacking around Australia. I am from Lancashire in the North of England and he is from the Isle of Wight in the South. We hit it off straight away and ended up travelling together. Unfortunately, I had to return to England before him and I wasn’t sure if this marked the end of the journey for us. But, in true ‘knight on a white charger’ style, he came to Lancashire to find me and that’s where he has stayed since. Over time we made a life together, he found work, we bought a house, and he supported me through my studies. We knew for a long time that we wanted to get married and we looked for the perfect engagement ring together. He finally popped the question on Christmas Eve on the Isle of Wight in 2020 in a lovely candlelit, very Christmasy, very fancy restaurant – perfect», the bride shared with us.
«Walking through Stoupa with my father, Bridesmaids, and Pageboy to meet my husband-to-be, who was waiting for me on the Jetty with the wedding guests was the best moment for me. I could see him and he could see me as I walked to him – so romantic!»
«The theme for my wedding was ‘relaxed boho’ and I was so happy with the way it all turned out. The location, the food, the music and the decoration were just as I imagined – muted tones, dried flowers, pampas grasses, and nothing too structured. I got married on a jetty a few yards away from the venue, which was pretty special! We also had a cocktail hour on the beach as the sun was setting, which was one of my favourite moments. We had a lovely seating area that was decorated with candles and flowers, and lots of cushions for people to just sit and chill and listen to a saxophonist play in the background – heaven. I LOVED the music too – we used it to create different moods at different points throughout the day and it went perfectly. However, I do have to say that all this would not have been possible without the people who helped me realize such a dream day – my amazing wedding planner, the manager and his team at the venue, the DJ, the florist, the bakery, and the photographer. They truly went above and beyond. It really is the people that make it».
