With the backdrop of the deep blue sea and the outstanding sceneries of Santorini, this wedding can absolutely be described by Leonardo Da Vinci as bride shared with us with the sentence “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Those two lovebirds chose to seal their love with a summer wedding in a wonderful Greek island and their special day organized so wonderfully by Casamento em Santorini who created the most romantic scenery to celebrate their love. The locations by itself had such a beautiful scene that not much was needed but also adding fresh flowers like white roses combined with olive leaves and greenery made the place even more dreamy. They exchange their vows on the top of the hill with a gorgeous Caldera view and their reception took place at the beach with their guests enjoying a romantic sunset while having their dinner and lots of drinks. From the enchanting location to the romantic decoration and a wonderful couple, this wedding is like a real fairytale…Enjoy every detail through the following photos…
Τhe bride shared with us: “We met at the graduation party of friends in common. He proposed at the Tangará Palace in São Paulo when we spent a weekend at the hotel. It was a total surprise for me, we had only 9 months relationship and 3 months living together. It was so romantic, and I cried a lot!”
“I bought my wedding dress in USA at BHLDN when we went on a trip to California on November 2018 to visit my cousins that live there. I wanted a boho style dress, a really light dress that valued my body with not much information and I found the perfect one for me!”
“I believe that if you have good taste in a gorgeous place like Santorini you don’t need much to make a gorgeous wedding. I think the Leonardo Da Vinci sentence describes really well our wedding: Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
“Our wedding concept was greenery, olive leaves and white roses.”
“The best moment of your wedding was when I arrived in the ceremony and realized that my dream was really becoming true. When I looked at the gazebo decorated, as I pictured a million times in my head, with the love of my life in it, I couldn’t help to burst in tears. It was such a magical moment! I felt so blessed!”
“Another special touch I really enjoyed at the wedding was the fact that we got married on the top of the hill with a gorgeous Caldera View and then we had the reception at the beach in the sunset. So our guests had the chance to see beautiful Santorini from the top then enjoy the sunset at the beach having dinner and drinks.”
“We didn’t have a lot of decoration, but we chose really carefully the places that would be perfect for our dream. The locations by themselves had such a beautiful scene that not much was needed. One item that I really wanted in the weeding and I didn’t see before on pictures was a light color carpet. Even though all do, I didn’t want to get married in the plain white floor so I arranged a way to bring the carpet from Brasil to Santorini and for me it gave such a special touch in the occasion! I was proud of my decision.”
“The wedding blog Chic and Stylish Weddings helped a lot with inspiration in previous weddings photos. Since the ceremony in Santorini is really unique, we had to look at a lot of references to choose our style of the gazebo and reception.”
