Today we are sharing Trude and Jonas’ intimate wedding in Naxos that you will surely love it from the very first moment! Maria Voudia designed a lovely beach ceremony for the couple that exchanged their vows in front of a romantic floral arch with gorgeous pink roses and white lysianthus while the wedding dinner tables was decorated beautiful with garlands of olive leaves that emphasizing the greek element. We loved the creative wedding favors the guests received: a postcard all about Naxos and a taste of the popular Greek drink tsipouro! It does not get more Greek than that!

«We met on set during a tv-show production in the mountains of Norway during covid. We were kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere and had only the film crew to hang with and it didn’t take long before we found each other. We moved in together right away and had lived together for 6 months when Jonas proposed in the most fantastic way on Christmas morning with an amazing ring as the snow was falling outside our window. It couldn’t have been more personal and romantic. », bride shared with us.
«I’m not a typical girly-girl and didn’t really know much about what decorations or flowers I wanted for the wedding. This is where Maria Voudia, our wedding planner really showed her true talent, guiding me through the jungle of wedding styles, customizing everything after what I had stumbled over on the internet. Together we created a look inspired by a bohemian, minimal romantic vibe that really turned out to be more beautiful than everything I had ever found online! We used a lot of greenery for the decor and implementing white flowers, roses, and also some gold and light pink as that was the one color, I wanted to pop up here and there throughout. The light pink color made its appearance in the bridesmaid’s dresses, the flowers in the bouquet, my hair and the best man’s tie among other things. The gold was picked up in the ring, the lights, my hairpiece and in a lot of the decor for the gift table. We also used a lot of wooden lamps and string lights as soft lighting is very decorative and forgiving when the sun goes down. »
«I tried on A LOT of dresses, but the reality was that I found my dress really fast. I just thought I needed it to be more suitable for the beach, so I didn’t really trust myself in the start. But I’m glad I ended up choosing the dress I felt most comfortable and beautiful in although it was heavy and had a long tow and not so easy to dance in at the beach, I really loved it! And it had pockets!»
«I think walking down the beautiful aisle on the beach that our wedding planner had created perfectly according to my wishes surrounded by friends and family to Beyonce’s “Ave Maria” loudly filling every corner of Agia Anna, was really a powerful moment. And also walking to the chapel to take photos after the ceremony, almost everyone we passed at the restaurants and on the beach congratulated us and complimented us, waved and clapped. »
«My advise to brides-to-be is to call Maria, our wedding planner! She will fix everything you want! But honestly having a wedding planner is key. I would never have been able to pull off such a beautiful set up on my own. And also having someone besides your husband that has the same interest in making your day perfect is vital. Wedding planning is a lot of details, and you need to be organized and know where to find the right inspiration. Having Maria help me get on the right track in this jungle of styles and inspiration was crucial. »
