The wedding concept was definitely modern… with rock influences. As the bride mentions: “I didn’t start out having a wedding theme in mind… it kind of evolved on its own from our choices… such as the modern rock wedding invitations… the unique wedding favors… the band we chose to play live at our wedding reception and the bride and groom grabbing the microphone and singing. Then I showed up in a red wedding dress… so I guess you could say this wedding had a rock theme!”.

The modern wedding invitations by Atelier Invitations gave a hint of the rock wedding party: vintage eco aesthetic, printed on tree friendly paper and our photo place in such a way that when you look at it, either you are focusing on the baby or on the happy parents. What were the three of them wearing in the photo? Rock band t-shirts!

An utterly impressive vera wang red wedding dress. A modern gown from the “Mei Meng” collection that translates to “ Beautiful Dream”… and it was indeed! A strapless ball gown with hand-rolled floral detail skirt and horsehair trim. A red wedding dress, perfect for brides that are not afraid to dare. The designer has described the collection as : “… boldly romantic, charming, protective, grand, seductive and sexy”.

When Irene tried on the red wedding dress for the first time she said she felt as if she had just won an oscar!

The groom’s custom made suit from the Giannetos collection was extremely chic.

At this wedding there were… 10 flowers girls! The dresses were from the Monsoon Kids collection: white satin flower girl dresses with lace and floral embroidery. Perfect little angels!

John proposed during one of their mountain hikes. As there were walking, he stopped and said to Irene:“I have such a nice time with you…I want to spend many more years like this…the rest of my life with you”.

As for the floral wedding decoration, the bride wanted colorful flowers everywhere! All except her bridal bouquet where she wanted only white lily of valley flowers. As the bride told us: “Aggeliki Kokkinou, the woman that handled the floral decor is a true artist!”

Irene, the stunning bride in the vera wang red wedding dress, realized that John was the man of her dreams, her knight in shining armor… very early in their relationship, when one morning as they were having breakfast together she remembers that “We were drinking coffee and reading the newspapers… and I looked at him as he was focused on reading an article… at that very moment I specifially remember that I felt so beautiful with this amazing person… I knew he was the one”.
