The colorful wedding we are featuring today took place outdoors in an idyllic location, in the Castello di Tassara of Italy. The lovely couple exchanged vows of eternal love with a backdrop of a romantic green scenery… The decoration was impressive and colorful with rustic details! We really loved the stylish and elegant table decoration with a mixture of fresh flower arrangements in glass and gold vases! The bride looked absolutely STUNNING in her Costarellos wedding dress with luxurious lace details, holding her wedding bouquet with vivid pink, orange, red and somon colors. Enjoy all the details of this colorful wedding in the following photos!
The bride shared with us: “I am a business event planner and my husband is the Sales Manager in an Energy company. We are together since 2010, 8 years.”
“He asked me to marry him on September 24th, 2016 and we got married 10 months later. We were walking on a mountain and we wanted to get to the top to stop for lunch. When we arrived at the end of the path, I sat on a rock to catch my breath and when I opened my eyes, I found Roberto kneeling with a wonderful engagement ring!”
“Roberto and I spent months choosing the perfect dinner menu, we wanted something good and very polished. Two days before the wedding Roberto was worried about the quantity of food and he called the chef to totally change the menu … clearly he was forbidden by me and wedding planners! We started with the idea of making a wedding outside our city of origin to be able to celebrate two days and stay out to sleep with all the guests. We immediately loved the Piacenza hills and before finding the Castello di Tassara we only saw two locations. The castle immediately made us feel at home.”
“As for my wedding dress, I had already identified Costarellos as the designer of my big day, I knew that “Le spose di Milano”, a Milan showroom, had this brand and I immediately went to try them. The dress I choose was the first I tried and immediately convinced me …. I tried some alternatives, but no one convinced me like that. I chose my dress in December 2016.”
“The theme of our wedding is the Kaleidoscope, an item that allows us to see life from different points of view, the most colourful and unexpected.”
“The creation of our website, the management of all overnight stays, the realization of girl survival kits and hangover kits were all DIY. We have been totally independent in the choice of all the suppliers and in the choice of our clothes and accessories.”
“Our favourite detail from the day was the open-air ceremony, the short toast with all the guests just arrived at the table, the cake made at the moment, in general every little details coordinated with our theme and our kaleidoscopic pattern.”
“We choose to do a legal marriage without any religious or family traditions. All the steps of our ceremony was decided only by us (songs, pledges, readings).”
“Marriage for us is certainly the successful completion of our love story and the beginning of a new chapter of our life together. We decided to organize a big party of two days to celebrate us but also all the people who lived with us our story and its evolution during the years. Our ‘just married’ chapter was in the real fact very short because after our one month honeymoon, we discover that i was pregnant and so we are ready to start soon another chapter of our life!”
“Our favorite moment from our wedding day was of sure our arrival at the ceremony with our songs sang by Emma Morton & the Graces, the public speech of one of the Roberto’s witness and the final dancing party in the barn.”
“There are a lot of moments we can tell you but i think that my husband totally drunk with his friends at 5 o’clock a.m. in the morning was the funniest.”
“I found the key vendors on Pinterest and on Instagram by keywords research and not with some blogs in particular. The most important vendors of our weddings were for sure the videographer and the photographer before, during and after wedding. Without them we cannot have all this beautiful memory.”
My advice to a bride to be: “Do what you think is better for you, and not for your guests.”
