Christy Lagiou, wedding planner from The Wedding Experts In Greece shared with us: “Anna is of Greek descent and Kush is from India, a couple that lives in England and decide to have their beautiful Indian wedding in Spetses, Greece. From the very beginning they wanted their wedding to be the perfect combination of the culture and customs of both countries. Above all they wanted to create an unforgettable 2 day event for their families and closest friends. Wedding guests from all over the world arrived on the island of Spetses and instead of a two day event it turned into a wonderful journey that lasted for a week… taking with them memories that will last a lifetime. Although when we arrived on the island everything was perfectly planned and organized … everything had to restructed due to the weather circumstances…. The Indian wedding took place in the garden of the Poseidonion Hotel… The weather at that point was favorable and then the bride came out, the sun was shining… The next day the english-greek ceremony unravelled in an open theater area: a location that had the Greek elements as the bride wished for, in combination with the english civil wedding details. Although the weather report announced rain once again… we took the risk and the wedding ceremony was beautiful!”
